Despite being pushed back a day to avoid conflicts with the US presidential debate, celebrity fits from MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMAs) still caught the fans’ attention.

The awards show showcased numerous iconic looks on its 40th anniversary at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, on Sept. 11, with rapper Megan Thee Stallion hosting the ceremony.

Pop royalty singer-songwriter Taylor Swift wore a Dior plaid yellow dress, a goth-punk-inspired fit aligned with the re-release of her album, “Reputation.”

Known for her exceptional dancing and captivating stage presence, BlackPink’s Lisa went to the VMAs with an elegant custom Mugler dress.

“Old Town Road” singer Lil Nas X made a striking fashion statement with his futuristic fit. 

Tyla stunned the VMAs with her fringed yellow mini dress, a vibrant and eye-catching fashion statement that seamlessly combines boldness with flair.

Who Decides War’s deconstructed style gown from its spring 2025 collection was Katy Perry’s dress of choice; with minimal accessories, the sleek, wet look made Perry’s whole ensemble take the spotlight.
